Jezeršek: A retro image for 35 years of culinary stories

    A creative and memorable commemoration of the 35th anniversary

    The family Jezeršek celebrated 35 years of creating inspired culinary stories with a pop-up celebration in the LPP warehouse. For this extraordinary event, as well as a whole year of celebrations, we needed to create a creative and visual design, a special comprehensive graphic image and a unified communication on various materials and tools.

    Through the past into the present and the future

    We began the creation of the commemoration of 35 years with an upgrade to the existing Jezeršek logo and new key visuals. The entire creative idea was designed and connected to the main activity of the group – cooking. In an emotionally-appealing and recognizable way we wanted nostalgia and history to connect both to the present and future operation of the business, and therefore we intertwined various standard materials with innovative approaches and tools (AR). What convincingly stood out was the printed invitation, for which we used thermo-sensitive ink, and which the recipient had to heat in the oven in order to read the contents.

    In addition to the printed invitation we also designed a special retro graphic image for this extraordinary event and prepared everything from a teaser to the online invitation, from the names of the stations with food and drink, all the way to the exhibition in a tram, the wall of memories and photographic additions, and a video montage with archival footage. We also enriched the graphic elements at the event with augmented reality (AR), so the visitors could view augmented digital content in addition to the exhibition of historic photographs.

    An extraordinary event, unified communication, pleased visitors

    A recognisable comprehensive graphic image and unified communication for the 35th anniversary throughout the year produced visible results from the point of view of brand recognisability, as well as the visitors’ response at the event itself. This was undoubtedly also proven by the outstanding numbers:
