1. Website cookie policy

Our cookie policy is published and available to the public at https://www.av-studio.si. We retain the right to update or change the website cookie policy without prior consultation or approval from the user. However, every time there is a change in cookie policy, a popup requesting consent to the new cookie policy will appear.

2. What are cookies?

Almost every modern website needs some basic information about its users to work properly. This information comes in form of cookies – small text files, saved to the user’s device. Cookies are designed to recognise returning users and make the next visit to the website even more user friendly. They enable user recognition and website preferences, and in some cases also enable user recognition on some other websites.

Cookies employ a wide range of functions that make your internet experience simpler and more interactive. They can retain some personal setting on websites you visit frequently, save your user profile, items in a webstore cart … making browsing and surfing the internet more efficient. They also help improve your experience with digital advertising, as your personal settings and interests are used to filter ads more relevant to you. Some cookie data is also used to discover browsing patterns, geolocation, and to generally improve user experience on the website.

3. How cookies are used on our website

Our websites use different types of cookies.

  1. The first segment consists of Required Cookies – these are cookies essential for our website to work properly, as they enable basic functionalities, like website navigation, access to secured pages of the site etc. Without Required Cookies, the website does not work properly. As the website administrator we have a read-only access to these cookies. Required Cookies also detect if you have already accepted or denied our Cookie Policy. Cookies that are essential to our website can’t be turned off and do not need explicit consent. These are primarily cookies that are used for authentication and technical cookies that are essential for connected IT systems.
Authentication cookies are saved when registering to our website and are stored to our authentication servers. When registering to our authentication server, you accept our Privacy Policy.
  2. The second segment are Analytical Cookies that allow us to collect data for a better user experience. These cookie data is anonymous. Analytical Cookies are used exclusively for inhouse research to improve services for our website users. These cookies gather information on how users interact with our website – all data is anonymous and can’t be linked to a specific user. Data from anonymous cookies is not shared with third parties nor is used for any other purpose. Anonymized data may be shared with outside partners only under contract when participating in a shared communication project.
  3. The third segment consists of Marketing Cookies that are used to track users on the website. We use these cookies to display ads relevant and interesting to a specific user and are thus more valuable to publishers and advertisers.
  4. The last, fourth segment of cookies are Uncategorized Cookies. These are cookies that are not yet included in one of the segments above.

The whole collection of cookies used on our website is listed in the table below.

4. Third Party Cookies

Some of our web pages may provide content from third party websites (like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter). To see content from these third-party sources you need to first accept their respective Terms & Conditions, which also includes their Cookie Policy, over which we have no control.

To gather data about website traffic (e.g., number of users, which web pages users visit, time spent on website) we use Google Analytics services. To support market research, upgrade website functionalities and guarantee website support we may additionally use third party cookies.

You can block third party cookies in your browser’s settings. This can impact the proper functioning of the website or its parts. For more information about the latest Cookie Policies from third parties visit their respective websites.
