For a new way of presenting the content we designed a card form of the website where the contents are primarily presented with an image and subtext. Each of the presented cards then leads to the extended content on sub-sites.
To facilitate searching for content we interconnected different thematic sections by using a combination of a hashtag and key words. We also introduced a hashtag cloud to serve as a search engine for content, which at the same time offers the visitors other related themes. With that we created an unobtrusive, simple, and active search engine leading the visitors to the relevant related content. To keep the website current and to maintain its position in the SEM context we regularly add new relevant content.
With the option of easy sharing we opened a path to a two-way communication with the users of the website. With it the users can participate in the creation of the website and at the same time provide even more relevant content.
We did not completely eliminate the shopping aspect of the website, we only moved it into the background. After we create interest for the visitors with the content we can offer them shopping advice connected to that content.
